'Practice the Pause' Silent Retreat

  • Hearth and Soul Eco Farm and Spiritual Retreat Stanford Sandy's Glen 7270 (map)

You are invited to join Nicci Cloete for this weekend silent retreat at tranquil Hearth and Soul Eco Farm and Spiritual Retreat just outside Stanford in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa.

DETAILS

Arrival Friday 23 February 2024 in the afternoon and depart early afternoon on Sunday 25 February 2024 (the exact arrival and departure times will be confirmed).

Cost will to be confirmed ASAP.

This retreat will be partly held in noble silence: from after dinner on Friday to after breakfast on Sunday. This is a golden opportunity to pause the incessant babbling of our mind, and to rest a while - physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Supported by the most pristine natural surroundings, we create and hold this gentle silence together.

There will be yoga twice a day, nourishing meals three times a day, meditation sittings and also a deep breathwork session for those who feel called to do this transformative practice.

There will also be plenty of free time for you to read, nap, walk, run, daydream, journal, swim, explore… all activities are optional, so you can join in with everything or you can dip in and out of the formal programme (which will be shared upon arrival).

It’s your retreat: you get to decide what is going to best support you.

You need not have any experience of silent retreats, meditation, yoga or breathwork. Everyone is welcome.

In the sweet territory of silence we touch the mystery. It's the place of reflection and contemplation, and it's the place where we can connect with the deep knowing, to the deep wisdom way.
